If you are searching for a lost pet, we are very
sorry your pet is missing. Please come to the shelter and fill out
a lost report, but that is only one of the ways you can find them.
Listed below are a few more suggestions that may help reunite you
and your pet.
If your
pet is microchipped please make sure to contact them online or by
phone to report your pet missing and to make sure your information

Please call the other two area shelters: Francis
Willis, Dorchester County
number is 871-3820 and
Doc Williams Berkeley County is 723-7603.
2. You should call all the Veterinarians in the
area. We have a list if you need it.
3. Call the After Hours Emergency Clinic. The number
is 744-3372.
4. You can run an ad in the newspaper. The number
is 722-6500.
5. Stray animals are held 5 days, so you will need
to come by and check for you pet every two
to three days.
6. We keep lost pet reports on file for 30 days.
If you have not found your pet by then please
come by and fill out
another report.
7. When you find your pet, please let us know so
we can remove your lost report from our files.
8. Please bring a picture of your pet by and we
will put on your report

chance of finding your pet so much better. Put your name and address
on the
back of the picture.
When you find your pet, please remember to put a
collar and tag on him, and have her microchipped. These are
the best ways to ensure that your pet returns to you safely.
